The 1st tape flip that occurs during HAC at 02:10 into the song has been "fixed" so continuity is not broken, probably patched with another part of the song. Some versions out there do not have this into. This has the "Mike Test" at the beginning of the recording, like NK's 1st gen>DAT and a supposed 1st gen>Hi-Fi that I have, which are basically identical to each other, so I doubt that's it's Hi-Fi lineage is correct. I won't get into all the different markings that may exist because I honestly don't know all of them but I will note a few things about this one. I am unsure if this bootleg is another marked copy that I haven't come across previously or if Sigma kind of botched this one. Also, presumably in an effort to see who might have given his recordings to bootleg labels. I assume this is probably sourced from a 1st gen or very very low gen source, as it is supposed to be the case that no digital transfer of Mike's masters are known to exist, as far as this recording goes, not sure about other recordings he may have done for other bands.Īs many of you probably know, Millard liked to "mark" a lot of his tapes, to track who might have traded certain tapes to whomever. Here is one of the finest sounding audience recordings of Pink Floyd ever made, although the performance is rather average, arguably.
